Hundreds of thousands of stores sell Coca-Cola products every day in Germany alone. The backbone of this vast operation relies on the efficient coordination of production, logistics, sales, and marketing, all supported by excellent customer service. Despite growing competition, Coca-Cola remains the largest provider of refreshments worldwide.
However, meeting this enormous demand presents ongoing challenges for Coca-Cola and its sales force. A large number of customer meetings must be scheduled, managed, and synchronized manually.
The existing mobile application, originally created to assist the sales team, has become inefficient due to its complex user interface, causing delays and added administrative burden. Currently, there is no efficient on-site solution to simplify these tasks and synchronize data in real-time. Coca-Cola recognized the need for a more streamlined, mobile-first approach to reduce the administrative workload and improve operational efficiency.
Tomorrrow Labs was brought on board by a leading German digital agency to rethink and redesign the existing app, with a focus on improving the user interface and experience for Coca-Cola’s sales team.
Tomorrrow Labs developed a new UI and UX concept for Coca-Cola’s sales app, focusing on creating a more intuitive, efficient experience for the company’s sales force. The redesign eliminated unnecessary complexity and streamlined the interface, allowing customer consultants to quickly access customer data, place orders, and manage distribution points in fewer steps, all while ensuring automatic synchronization.
The new mobile application provides readily accessible customer data and service requests, enabling consultants to retrieve and act on information on-site while supporting points of distribution. By integrating with Coca-Cola's CRM system and Salesforce, the app enhances and simplifies the work of the sales and service personnel across hundreds of thousands of stores in Germany.
With real-time access to customer data and the ability to place new orders instantly, administrative effort is significantly reduced as synchronization happens automatically. Additionally, point-of-sale (POS) promotions can be more effectively managed, as sales consultants have immediate access to relevant information, allowing them to guide customer representatives on marketing strategies.
In collaboration with the German digital agency, Tomorrrow not only designed this solution but also developed the full pitch for the agency to present to Coca-Cola. The result was a winning proposal that secured a total project budget of 1.8 million euros. This transformative design vision now positions Coca-Cola’s sales teams to operate more efficiently, with real-time access to the tools and data they need for success across their extensive network of stores.
