Twago

CHALLENGE

How to simplify the process of discovering, communicating, and signing deals on Twago?

Twago, short for “Teamwork Across Global Offices,” is one of Europe’s leading marketplaces for online work. It connects individuals and businesses of all sizes with the right experts for their projects. Freelancers and agencies use Twago to reach new clients and grow their businesses. With over 225,000 experts on the platform, Twago has generated more than €150,000,000 in project volume since its inception.

Twago’s design and management team sought new solutions to improve the user experience for both freelancers and clients, particularly in how users discover projects, communicate, and close deals.

The company recognized challenges in these areas and tasked Tomorrrow Labs with simplifying the process and enhancing user engagement across the platform. Our team developed the right solution.

SOLUTION

Merging all interactions into one simple and intuitive solution: the multimedia messenger for making deals.

Before we began designing the solution, we asked ourselves how users should feel when they use Twago. The existing user interface felt overly complicated, with users needing to navigate through too many pages and screens. This was exactly the experience we wanted to avoid. Instead, users should be able to stay in one place while interacting with the platform.

Every interaction should happen on a single page. After analyzing the user journey, we understood that every click and action revolved around one central activity: communication. That’s why we developed a multimedia business messenger, where clients can manage their projects, invite freelancers to bids, and communicate seamlessly.

Freelancers, in turn, can manage their requests, track client interest, and respond efficiently. The goal wasn’t just to enable deals and contracts—it was to create the right user experience that naturally leads to successful outcomes. And that’s exactly what Tomorrrow Labs achieved.
